In terms of research, application and education, applied microbiology has again been thrust into the spotlight cementing its position as the most important topic all around the world. However, the connection between our little friends and the health of the world still does not have the full recognition it deserves.

For this reason, the International Applied Microbiology Conference is providing a platform for you, the future microbiology superstars to present your research in the form of a pre-recorded 3-minute flash presentation about microbiology and how its application may provide a benefit to society. There will also be networking opportunities where you will be able to answer questions from your peers.

This call for abstracts is open for all early career researchers and students from any of the following broad areas related to applied microbiology:

  • Antimicrobial Resistance and One Health
  • Food Safety
  • Food Security
  • Biofilms and Microbiome
  • Virology
  • Microbial Biotechnology

Submitting an abstract for a flash talk is super easy. We need only for you to enter a few contact details, a title and the 50 word abstract. Click here to go to the submission page.
