On 18 June 2019 Professor Dame Sally Davies was awarded Fellowship of the Society for Applied Microbiology. Alli Cartwright, SfAMs Communications Officer of the Early Career Scientist Committee was able to get close up and personal with the UK's Cheif Medical Officer.
